When Europeans first arrived in Victoria in the early 19 Century, Aboriginal people had been living there for tens of thousands of years.
The clans that lived around Port Phillip Bay and in central Victoria made up the eastern part of the Kulin Nation.

Author of the book First People, Dr Gary Presland will detail the Eastern Kulin way of life covering their daily routines, seasonal movements and relationships with both the new arrivals from Europe as well as neighboring groups.

Presented in partnership with the Monash Libraries Family History Group.

This is an online event (Zoom). Access details will be provided to people who register.
