Inter Library Loans: suspension of service

The way we do Inter Library Loans is changing.

This change is affecting all libraries across Australia, not just Monash Public Library Service.

To prepare for the new system, Library Link Victoria 2 (LLV2) will not be available for new requests from Monday 5 May until the new system goes live in early July and the service will be suspended.

Up until this time, it may prove difficult to supply some requests, as many library services have already ceased supplying Inter Library Loans in preparation for the new system.

Please note that any unsupplied requests that are in LLV2 when the service ceases will be transferred by our staff into the new system so customers will not need to re-request an item.

If you have borrowed an item through the Inter Library Loan service, and the due date is after 5 May, there is no need to return it early. Please follow the normal procedure and ensure it is returned by the due date given when the item was borrowed.

We apologise for the pause in our Inter Library Loans over this time, as we are aware that it is valued service by our library patrons.

For any queries please contact your local branch.
