What is the Monash Federation Centre?

The Monash Federation Centre is the home of the Monash Public Library Service's local history collections and of History Monash Inc. (formerly Oakleigh & District Historical Society). From time to time, the Centre hosts exhibitions related to local history.

It is located in the historic precinct in Warrawee Park adjoining the Oakleigh Cemetery.

The Centre is staffed by the Monash Public Library Service and is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Closed on public holidays. The library's local history collection is on open access and consists of books, bound newspapers, and microfiche.

Current Exhibition: In Black and White.

In Black and White  presents an exhibition about the Oakleigh District Football Club since 1950. The Exhibition is open 10am to 5pm Tuesdays & Thursdays from June 2017 until the end of September 2017. Produced by the Oakleigh & District Historical Society. (now History Monash Inc.)
