Internet Conditions of Use
At the time of actually using your booking, you will be required to agree to the following conditions of use.
- Internet access is provided as a free service.
- Bookings can be made up to one week in advance.
- Maximum usage of one hour per person per day.
- Internet users are responsible for the cost of ALL printing as per the printing charges determined by
Council resolution.
- A parent or guardian must register as guarantor for users under 18 years of age.
- Internet users must be members of the Library and logon to computers with their own card number and PIN.
- Monash Public Library is not an E-mail service provider; however, users have access to E-mail through
external providers.
- A maximum of two people per terminal allowed at one time.
- Bookings will be forfeited ten minutes past the booking time if the user has not arrived.
A subsequent booking can be made if required.
- Material accessed on the Internet must be appropriate
to a Public Library environment.
- In accordance with Bylaw No. 3,
the Internet may not be used for commercial or profit gaining purposes, including gambling,
in a Council facility.
- Failure to abide by these conditions will result in suspension of internet privileges.
